2. ‘Tis the Season…
I hope you had a happy, healthy, and fun Thanksgiving holiday!
And that the turkey & leftovers fuel you for the weeks ahead.
As the holidays kick into full gear, think about who has shaped you personally and professionally throughout your career and over the past year.
And pause to say thank you – maybe with a real, handwritten letter (gasp…)
I love getting real mail.
Not a bill or advertisement. A real letter, with actual words.
It says, “I value you. I took the time to share my thoughts, address an envelope, and even find a stamp.”
I’m thankful for:
The Lt Col who took a chance on me as a young Captain to be a 4-star General’s speechwriter.
Corporate leadership who welcomed me back after my first child and helped me navigate life as a working parent.
A current business mentor & fellow entrepreneur who encourages me, challenges me, shares my faith, and reminds me of what matters most.

Before racing into 2024, I encourage you to take a moment to appreciate how far you’ve come in 2023.
A wise mentor recently reminded me that business is a marathon - not a sprint.
So, keep having fun & keep up the hard work.
