1. The Value of Time

Happy New Year! It’s a time of new beginnings, new hopes, and a chance to recalibrate what’s next. What better time to pause and ask ourselves a few questions for 2023? If you’ve already done so – bravo. Take a moment to review, reflect, and tweak, if necessary. If not, it’s not too late! Carpe diem….

  • What am I thankful for over the past year?

  • What is truly important to me and what do I most value?

  • What are my top 3 personal goals for 2023?

  • What are my top 3 professional goals for 2023?

  • What is one thing I can do today to move toward these goals?

When I reflect on these questions, the theme of time quickly emerges. I also am reminded of an old proverb, “Cast but a glance at riches, and they are gone, for they will surely sprout wings and fly off to the sky like an eagle.” For me, time is the treasure.

  • I am thankful for time to watch my children learn and grow.

  • I value time to help executives tackles challenges and emerge with greater clarity.

  • I want to improve my 5K run time.

  • I will commit time to share with others what I’ve learned over the years.

  • Today, I will hold time for what’s most important. For me, this looks like being there for afterschool bus pick-up and creating space each day for uninterrupted thought.

What does it look like for you?

I help executives reclaim valuable time to focus on what matters most. This means leaders work ON the business instead of IN the business. Whether it's a 10-year vision, 3–5 year strategy, or 90-day action plan - we partner to achieve your goals.

If you want to break through to the next level in your business, drop me a message, and we'll arrange a 15-min call to see if I can help.

Be well.
